G.O.D.W.I.N.S. Wellness LLC a Joint Commission-accredited Behavioral Health Practice. Our strength-based empowerment approach focuses on holistic services offered through these various programs. 

 

Adult and Minor Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP): This program focuses on providing quality of life by supporting individuals as they develop and enhance life skills to live independently within the community. Our dedicated direct care staff assists with the following:

Mental Health symptom management

Assistance with completing entitlement program paperwork (Snap food benefits, etc)

Obtaining stable housing

Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP-A)

The program provides adults with structured individual and group sessions designed to develop and enhance independent living skills and the management of mental illness symptoms. (click to read more)

The goal is to assist individuals with the transition from a long period of hospitalization successfully re-enter the community and to assist those individuals already in the community with maintaining and enhancing their skills.

Criteria for enrollment in PRP-A

To enroll in PRP-A, the participant must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 18 – 62 years of age
  • Must be Medicaid eligible
  • Must be in the care of a therapist, psychiatrist, or any other licensed medical provider
  • Must not be currently hospitalized
  • Must not be currently incarcerated
  • Must have the willingness to receive services
  • Must reside in Maryland

Scope:

As a participant in our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for Adults, you will receive the following:

  • A comprehensive mental health assessment
  • An Individualized rehabilitation plan customized to your specific needs6-8 counseling sessions per month conducted by a highly trained PRP counselor
  • Assistance with applying for and maintaining entitlement benefits
  • Employment seeking and retainment assistance

Minor Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP-B)

The program provides youth and their families with structured individual and group sessions designed to help manage challenging behaviors. The goal is to provide behavioral interventions that help (click to read more)

The child avoid the need for higher levels of care, expulsion from school, and/or loss of residential placement. We have particular focus on coping skills, anger management, and life skills development. We work collaboratively with the child, guardian, and other service providers involved in the child’s care.

Criteria for enrollment in PRP-M
To enroll in PRP-A, the participant must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 7-17 years of age
  • Must be in the care of a therapist, psychiatrist, or any other licensed medical provider
  • Must be Medicaid eligible
  • Must be a resident of Maryland
  • Must not be currently hospitalized
  • Must not be a resident of a psychiatric facility

Scope:
As a participant in our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for Adults, you will receive:

  • A comprehensive mental health assessment
  • An Individualized rehabilitation plan customized for your specific needs
  • 3-5 counseling sessions per month conducted by a highly trained PRP counselor
  • Approved therapeutic recreational activities

Case Management

All participants in any of our programs are eligible for case management services. Case management services are designed to address several challenges program participants may have. (click to read more)

Our goal is to provide ancillary support to program participants that encourage their successful participation in their respective program while encouraging sobriety and community independence. Case management services are ongoing throughout the individual’s enrollment in our programs and beyond.

These services include:

  • Assistance with indentifying stable and/or suitable housing
  • Assistance with physical health care management
  • Exploring eligibility for entitlement benefits to include:
    • Food stamps,
    • Comprehensive health insurance,
    • Social Security income and disability benefits
  • Support with identifying gainful employment and applying for job opportunities
  • Assistance with managing daily life tasks to include:
    • Appointment setting
    • Personal grooming
    • Time management
    • Personal budgeting and finance
    • Legal support and advocacy
